7. Mount the upper oarlock socket to the pipe (post), using 2 screws (K) and 2 nuts (M). Put a washer (O) between the head of the screw and the socket, and between the socket and the nut. Tighten it well, but be careful not to overdo it. The nylon inlays in the nuts will make sure it won't come off.

8. Mount the post plate using the two flat head screws (L), 2 washers (O) and 2 nuts (M). Make sure that the screws' heads are in level or lower than the post plate's surface. If they stick up, you must carefully countersink them a little more.

9. Put the pipe through the bicycle handle (E). Glue it just beneath the upper oarlock socket. Make sure the glue you use can handle both metal and rubber. Let it dry.
