10. Extend the two mounting holes in the lower oar lock
socket from 4 mm to 8 mm in dia. This so we can bolt the heavy washers to the socket as
counterweight for the cam. |

11. Mount the lower oarlock socket the same way as the upper one, using 2 screws (K), 2 nuts (M)
and 4 washers (O). Again, don't tighten the screws too much, as this will only deform the
aluminum pipe. The nylon inlays in the nuts will make sure they stay on anyway.

12. Mount the heavy washers to the oarlock socket using the 2 longer screws (I) and 2 nuts (N).
Tip: Once you've found out how many washers you need, you may want to shorten the screws so
they won't stick out too much.
