Have you built a FlyStand after my drawings? What's your experience with
building and using it? Have you modified it and in what way? How's the
performance before and after? Give your feedback to this project and I'll
put it up here for others to read. |

Hey, used your workplans for a guide to make a similar one for my VX-1000 camera.
I put a lilliput 7" LCD screen and a 12 volt battery at the end though. :)
Easy to build and it works like a charm. It is a bit difficult to point straight
forward when you're walking, and it gets some jerks to the sides, but hey. :)
It's extremely cheap, and it works fairly well when you find out how to minimize
the jerks. :) Nice job on the workplans.
Kind regards

Hey! My name is Fábio and I'm writting to you from Portugal. After I saw your project
I decided that I would built a similliar one ;-) so a grabed my tools and I built it.
However, I've made a few changes such as adding a hand gimbal for improoved stabillization,
and I'm also thinking of builing a steadicam arm to join your project and get even more
vertical stabilisation from it. The only part of the project that is different is that
some of the materials are very hard to find in my town, and I live near the capital.
To end this email I would like to thank you for this wonderfull idea that works effectivly.
